1. Who we are
OwnSI is a product of AI4Live LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“AI4Live,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

2. What this policy covers
This policy covers ownsi.ai (the “Site”), purchases of OwnSI, and our support for it. Our company website ai4live.com has its own privacy policy, which applies the same principles.
3. Your workspace stays with you
OwnSI runs on your computer, and for teams on your own server. The content of your workspace (your records, notes, rules and data) is not sent to us and we do not need it to provide the Product.
When your AI tool reads information from your workspace to answer a request, that information is sent to the AI provider you chose (for example Anthropic, OpenAI or Cursor) under that provider’s terms and privacy policy. Connections you add yourself, such as Google services, work directly between you and that provider.
4. Information we collect
When you buy
Stripe processes your payment and collects your card and billing details under its own privacy policy. We receive the order confirmation, your name, email address, billing country and the product you bought. We do not receive your card number.
When you contact us
If you email us or book a session, we receive your name, email address, company (if you share it) and the content of your messages. Installer reports you send for support contain technical information about your computer and the installation. Please do not include passwords, keys or sensitive personal data in them.
When you visit the Site
Like any website, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data needed to deliver pages and keep them secure: IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, date and time, and referring site. We do not use this data to identify you.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information through the Site.
5. How we use information
- to deliver the Product and process purchases, refunds and the setup guarantee;
- to answer your questions and provide support and booked sessions;
- to keep the Site and our systems secure and working;
- to understand, in aggregate, how the Site is used, and improve it;
- to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations and enforce our Terms.
We do not sell your personal information, we do not use it for targeted advertising, and we do not use it or your workspace content to train AI models.
6. Who we share it with
Only with service providers that help us run the business (payment processing by Stripe, email, website and video hosting, and booking tools), each limited to providing their service to us; with professional advisors where necessary; with authorities where required by law; and with a successor in a merger or sale of the business, in which case we will tell you.
7. Videos
Videos on the Site are served from our own hosting and content delivery network as regular video files. Playing them does not involve a third-party video platform and does not set cookies. Our hosting provider processes the technical data described above to deliver them.
8. Cookies and analytics
The Site itself does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If we add web analytics, we will use a privacy-friendly tool that does not set cookies or identify you, and we will update this policy. Stripe may set its own cookies on its checkout page. See our Cookie Policy.
We honor Global Privacy Control signals where they apply. The Site does not respond to “Do Not Track” signals because it does not track you across sites.
9. Retention
- Purchase records: as long as required for tax and accounting, usually seven years.
- Support and contact messages: up to three years after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete them earlier.
- Server logs: kept only as long as needed for security and operation, typically a few weeks.
10. Your rights
You can ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, give you a copy, correct it, or delete it (subject to legal retention obligations). Email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy Request.” We will respond within 45 days and may extend once by 45 days if needed, after verifying your identity. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights.
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana and Florida, may have additional rights, including the right to appeal a decision. To appeal, email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy Request — Appeal.” If we deny an appeal, we will tell you how to contact your state attorney general.
11. Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections and limited access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. International visitors
The Site is operated from the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, your information is processed in the United States.
13. Children
OwnSI is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have, we will delete it.
14. Changes
We may update this policy and will change the “Last updated” date when we do. If a change is material, we will tell customers by email where practicable.
